25 – Your favorite song from a game

Bolero of Fire from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This is a fan version of it that I think turned out really, really nice. This song is one that Link learns in the fire temple after warping to the future. It’s lovely. 🙂

26 – A song that reminds you of your family

Summer’s End by Foo Fighters. This is one of my mom’s favorite songs and I can’t listen to it without thinking of her.

27 – A song that reminds you of your friends

Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother. Before I could drive, during the summer, my father would drive all us neighbor kids to get ice cream once or twice a week. We’d always listen to the same CD on the way, which was a mix with this song on it. So I suppose any of those songs would do, but this is the one I thought of first. Can’t listen now without thinking of shoving more kids than we were supposed to into a car and driving off for ice cream.

I recently found a Finnish Christmas Carol that was covered by a few of my favorite singers!  (Namely Marco from Nightwish – the 4th singer in the vid, and Tony from Sonata Arctica – the 1st singer).
