If you follow my blog at all, you’ll have noticed me agonizing over a coding project I’ve been working on since September (a major reason why my book posts/reading/Nanowrimo failed so miserably this year). I didn’t get it as developed as I would have liked, but hey, it works.
I linked up a NAO robot and a tic-tac-toe game to allow the robot to play with the user. As of right now, the robot plays verbally – it’ll tell you where it’s going to go and make it’s move. Like that. Eventually, I’ll have it moving to point at the square and using cv to see the screen and stuff, but for now, it’s just speaking.
Baby steps. I’m still a student and my brain is still soft and wiggly. I think I’m going to keep going on this project next semester in my AI class. I think. We’ll see, I suppose.
