Hello! A tag today, and I was actually tagged! Woot! Thank you Nicola @Thoughts on Fantasy for thinking of me! Today’s tag will be fun. :”D
What was the last book you marked as ‘read’
The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson. Just did so about an hour or so ago actually. I need the second book now, but I dun have it. Guess who’s likely making a book order soon. :”D Maybe. Shh.
What are you currently reading?
There are quite a few. I’m not good at sticking with a single book. Life, The Universe and Everything by Douglas Adams, A Dance With Dragons by George R. R. Martin, The Black Prism by Brent Weeks and I’m also flipping through a book on the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting by Ed Greenwood to familiarize myself with it for an upcoming D&D game I’ll be involved in.
What was the last book you marked as TBR?
That would be A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas. I’m very late hopping onto this bandwagon and honestly this time two years ago, you would have found me saying that I wouldn’t read anything by her. Boy have I eaten my words. I recently finish A Court of Mist and Fury and loved it. I need this book. My veins are calling for it.
What book do you plan to read next?
As in ‘after I finish all my currently reading books’? Probably The Mad Ship by Robin Hobb, which I will be buddy reading with Zezee sometime in February I think. :”D Or March. I’m having a brainfart which one it is.
Do you use the star rating system?
Yes. I have a whole post on it, since it seems to be a pretty subjective thing. I need to edit it though and add in what half-stars mean for me.
Are you doing a 2017 Reading Challenge?
Yep, I’ve signed up for 50 books, which is what I did and accomplished last year. It seems to be a pretty doable yet still challenging thing for me and my time schedule.
Do you have a wishlist?
I do but it’s not up to date. I fixed it up a bit for Christmas when a couple family members asked for it, but otherwise it’s not public.
What book do you plan to buy next?
Probably Heart of Betrayal by Mary E Pearson. There are others I want but I think this one is sticking out to me the most at the moment.
Do you have any favorite quotes? Share a few.
I actually just ran across a new one day! I added it to my liked quotes, but I haven’t read anything by the author yet (I’ve a buddy read planned to fix that though. I’m excited :”D)
“I say that there is no role for women—there is, instead, a role for each woman, and she must make it for herself.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Words of Radiance
Who are your favorite authors?
Naomi Novik, Alan Campbell, Robin Hobb, Patrick Ness and Neal Stephenson
Have you joined any groups?
Yep! Quite a few, though honestly I keep updated on only a couple of them. I’M A BAD GROUP MEMBER D”:

Happy reading! :”D
Lol thanks for the tag!
And yea, I said February but…I’m also reading a bunch of books at once! I’m a little overwhelmed. So maybe late February, early March?
I went from not feeling like reading in January to having too much to read now, lol.

Wow you were quick with this tag! Btw it sounds like you’re a better group member than me – I keep updated with pretty much none of mine!
