Name a cartoon that you love
I’m currently stuck on Archer and Bob’s Burgers. Both of them took me a while to get into, but both of them are just so lovely and awful at the same time – I dig them. 😀
What is your favorite song right now?
I have a lot of ‘current favorites’ but my number one, all-time favorite song is White Pearl, Black Oceans by Sonata Arctica. It’s a power metal ballad that tells the tale of a lighthouse keeper who is knocked out on his way home from town. When he wakes up the next day, he finds out that because he wasn’t there to light the beacon in the lighthouse, a ship crashed into the cliffs below and everyone on board died. The song goes through the event, the town’s reaction and his overwhelming guilt. It’s a beautifully sad song. I’ve linked a version with lyrics, if you’d like to listen. If you’re hesitant because it’s metal, dun worry – no growling. Singing, I promise, haha.
What could you do for hours that isn’t reading?
Play Civilization (V or VI), watch hockey, paint my nails, cook food, listen to metal, and code. Maybe not all at once, but you get what I’m sayin’.
What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?
I have no idea, really. Nobody’s really ‘weird’ anymore, haha. There’s always someone that does the same thing you do.
What is your favourite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about?
Pokemon stats, haha. I like knowing how big they are compared to a human, the stones and stuff involved in evolving them, yada yada. Pbtbtbt, judge me, man.
What is something unusual that you know how to do?
I’m pretty decent at making recipes up on the fly, or finding decent replacements for ingredients in a recipe that I find out that I’m lacking. Mind you, ‘usually’ is a key term here. I’m also really good at making occasionally shitty food.

What is your most recent personal project?
Currently, I’m in the middle of outlining my novel for Camp Nanowrimo, which starts July 1st! If any of you are participating, do let me know. We can be writing buds! :”D
Tell us something that you think about often?
I daydream about being in a band a lot. One day, maybe I’ll take up an instrument again. I used to play a couple in elementary school, but that was almost two decades ago now (yeesh I’m old)

And yay for Archer! Took me a while as well, but my boyfriend kept watching it all the time and I got hooked. I like the Doctor the most, he’s so weird!!
