Hello! Happy December 3rd! 😀
Now that nanowrimo is over, I’m hoping head first back into reading. It’s been lacking for the last month, so I wanna read as many books as possible!
Currently, I am reading three:
Fool’s Errand by Robin Hobb
This is my buddy read with Zezee. She’s patiently waiting for me to get off my ass and finish the book so we can talk about it (thank you much, friend :D).
I am almost done! I’m pre-writing this post a bit, so at the time of writing, I am 3/4ths of the way through it. I’m seriously digging it so far. I’ve just come to enjoy Robin Hobb books I think. She could write about a rock and I’d read it.
The Broken Eye by Brent Weeks
This has been on my currently reading for forever and honestly last month I even removed it because I hadn’t touched it in ages. Welp, I’ve picked it up again. But! This time around, I’m listening to it on audibook. I never realized how much I associated Simon Vance’s tone of voice with this series until I heard it again. He really puts the whole book together and I wish he could narrate my life.
But I’m loving this book, just as I’ve loved the first two. I have the fourth as a physical book and I know the fifth comes out soon if it’s not already out. This is seriously one of my all-time favorite series. I love it so much.
The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson
This is another buddy read I’m in, started on December 1st with my buddy pal Ace and another friend of ours (whom I don’t think has a blog. Ace, link me if she does!). This is the third and final book in a trilogy and I’m rather liking it so far. It’s amusing and though it tries to be dark, I still kinda find it light and fluffy, haha. I like it. 😀
And that’s it! Happy reading! Thank you all my buddy reader pals for being patient with me. 😀
