Happy end-of-June! I only read two books this month. Slumpy? No idea. I really liked both books I read at least!

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang – I ended up really liking this book. I wrote a full spoiler-free blabber about it if you’d like to know my full thoughts, but to sum up: it lived to my expectations. Thoroughly good.

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard – This was my audiobook of the month and I really liked this one too. It took me a chapter or two to get into it, but once the friendship between Safi and Iseult became a focus I found myself really enjoying it. I’m currently on book two, but that’ll be talked about more tomorrow.
