Katsucon and February Book Haul!

Book Haul Base Banner

Hi! Two weekends ago, I posted about going to Katsucon, and this past week, I went! I had put myself on a mini-ban for about a month beforehand, knowing full well I’d go a bit nutso over manga while there and shocker, I did.

So this is everything – books and more – I got at Katsu, and then also the other books I’ve purchased this month on top of that!

I’ve jumped into figure collecting, and this is my first one, if you don’t count the Aizawa Pop I have… So second one, I guess. It’s a slippery slope and I can already feel myself being pulled in.

This was made by shliikawaii!

I also got an Inuyasha mug, but the video’s being difficult, so I’ma link to my twitter post of it instead, which’ll actually show the damned thing if you’re curious to see it:

And finally, the manga:

There are so many manga here, so I’m not going to go into them individually. But some of the ones I’m most excited for are the Girl From the Other Side volumes and the Wild Adapter ones. A lot of these are series I read back in high school, have since gone out of print, and then have been on the outside of my peripherals for a decade. Almost all of these were two bucks a pop at the con, so how could I resist? There are 37 volumes here, and I think I might have spent 90 bucks on them. For all 37. Really, where else are you gonna find that.

I also got two books this month: An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green, which I’m currently reading, and Highfire by Eoin Colfer, which just sounds like a blast. I loved Artemis Fowl growing up so seeing a new work by this author is just neat.

And that’s it! I have a few more manga on the way in the mail, which will be in next month’s haul if they show up in time, so pumped about that, too.

Happy reading!
