Bout of Books 15.0 Challenge: Would You Rather

This is my entry for the “Would You Rather” challenge hosted by Writing My Own Fairytale. This is the second challenge in the Boutofbooks readathon. The first challenge, I did through twitter and if you’re interested, you can find that tweet here.

Otherwise, onto challenge 2!

Would you rather:
Lend books to someone who dog-ears pages or to someone who reads with cheesy Cheetos fingers?

Dog-eared page person for sure. At least I can get the pages straight again. A line in a page is forgivable but cheese dust is just cruel. That still will never come out.

Would you rather:
Be able to meet one character of your choice or meet one author of your choice?

Probably meet a character of my choice. Can’t decide which one off the top of my head, but there are a lot of characters in my character closet that I feel I could be friends with. So one of them. They can draw straws.

Would you rather:
Never be allowed in a book store again or never be allowed in a library again?

Never be allowed in a library again. I love the bookstore too much. Amazon is great and all, but there’s nothing like buying a book of the shelf and sniffing it all car ride home. I mean what.

Would you rather:
Have to choose one of your favorite characters to die in their book or have to pick one of your favorite couples to break up in their book?

Obviously I’d rather have them break up. I mean I know they’re just fictional characters but I’d rather have them be fictionally sad than fictionally die.

Would you rather:
Be required to read Twilight once a year for the rest of your life or The Scarlet Letter once a year for the rest of your life?

This one is hard to answer. I didn’t particularly care for Twilight but I’ve never read The Scarlett Letter. I don’t know if I’d like it or not. So considering I didn’t hate Twilight with a passion or anything and there is still the chance that I would hate The Scarlett Letter, I’m going to pick Twilight. I’ll take the known dislike over the possible hate.
